Lodge Te Puke 261

Welcome to Lodge Te Puke.

Lodge Te Puke No. 261 is a Masonic Lodge serving the Te Puke community, built on the timeless principles of Brotherly Love, Relief, and Truth. For generations, Freemasonry has brought together men of good character to grow personally, support one another, and give back to the wider community.

Our Lodge offers a place of genuine fellowship, mutual support, and lifelong learning — welcoming both those with long-standing ties to Freemasonry and those considering membership for the first time.

The Grand Lodge Of New Zealand

In 1890 the majority of lodges then operating under the authority of English, Irish or Scottish Constitutions combined to form the Grand Lodge of Antient Free and Accepted Masons of New Zealand, more commonly known today as Freemasons New Zealand.

As in many other countries around the world, the early 1970s saw the peak of New Zealand membership, attributed to an influx of ex-servicemen after World War Two. There are currently 166 lodges in New Zealand, with a combined membership of approximately 4263 in the Grand Lodge of New Zealand.
